Thursday, October 31st, we will be holding our annual Halloween parade at Downsville Central School. The parade will include the FIRST program along with grades PreK through 6th.
A friendly reminder, students should not wear costumes to school, please send their costumes with them in the morning. All weapon props such as toy guns, axes, knives, etc. should be left at home.
The schedule will be as follows:
12:55pm - load busses in bus loop to be bussed to the old town sheds.
1:15pm - parade begins. students march back to the school
*enjoy taking pictures from the sidewalk as we encourage students to stay with their classmates.
1:45pm - parents may sign out their child(ren) outside the main entrance
2:39pm - Normal dismissal time for the students remaining in school.
There will be NO after school library program on this day. In the event of inclement weather, an all-call will be made to notify of any changes to the plans (ie. indoor event that is live streamed).If you have any questions, please contact the school.
If you plan to take your child home after the parade, please return the form that was sent home with your child(ren) or print it here. When students return to the classrooms we will bring your child out to the front entrance to meet you.
