In Mr. Morris’s 10th grade English class, poetry is the sole focus for quarter one. As an ongoing task, students are choosing their own poetry collections to read and then designing their own reading and writing goals based on their interests. One of Skyler’s goals is to share a poem she read with a wider audience via social media and comment on the poem’s inspiring characteristics.
